The Utah Department of Health’s COVID-19 report on Saturday includes more than 9,000 new tests and three new deaths.
1,340 new cases have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 93,297.
9,142 new tests have been conducted since Friday’s report. 966,451 Utahns have now been tested for COVID-19.
The rolling seven-day average of positive cases is now 1,222, or approximately 14% of those tested.
69,110 cases are considered to be recovered, for a total of 24,187 active cases.
298 people are currently hospitalized in connection to the virus. 4,610 have been hospitalized since March.
Three new deaths have been reported, bringing the statewide fatality rate to 540.
The newly reported deaths include:
- Male, older than 85, Davis County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
- Female, older than 85, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
- Male, between 65-84, Carbon County resident, hospitalized at time of death
